PEN BOUNCE
Open Bounce is a program that works with underserved youth at local shelters and youth service programs to engage children in a fun and active dance experience. This program was created and is led by Fly on a Wall Team Member, Christina Massad.
Open Bounce partners with local organizations that provide services to families who have previously experienced or are currently experiencing homelessness. Fly on a Wall visits the organizations once a week and facilitates an educational dance class to help children stay active while also developing key characteristics that will help them find success in their growth, such as character building, leadership, and communication.
Currently, Fly on a Wall is partnering with Restoration Atlanta (RATL). Restoration Atlanta serves under resourced families, primarily women and children transitioning out of homelessness. RATL carries out services in partnership with residential housing programs designed to move women & children out of homelessness. Currently, RATL serves Solomon’s Temple and Atlanta Mission, My Sister’s House.
